Happy June to everyone. In case you hadn’t noticed; half the month has slipped past already. Where to you ask? I’ll show you a couple of spots.
Pruning pines: Mainly just candling them for the year however This large one that I’ve been working on for 7 years just got about 18″ off of the top of it. It’s opens up the view dramatically.
These two Hollywood Junipers have been sculpted once or twice a year; by me for the last 7 years.
A garden tour of our wild garden in Seattle.
We are busy with a small design/build project. It is always fun for me to see a design drawing unfurl into stone walls/paths and plant combinations. Stay tuned for more pictures!
I did have the opportunity to see the new sustainable building and inspirational community resource; 21 Acres. The Washington State Nursery and Landscape Association held their June meeting for the Seattle Chapter there on Monday. We had an incredible dinner of all local and organically grown food. We also got a complete tour of the building, composting toilet tubs and all! I encourage anyone out in the Woodinville area to head over and tour their grounds; bring a picnic and your kids or sign up for one of their many classes! Thanks to the staff at 21 acres and the organizing members in the Seattle Chapter at WSNLA!
